GAINESVILLE, Texas — The Gainesville Leopards rolled to a commanding 55-35 homecoming victory over the Bonham Purple Warriors on Friday night at Leopard Stadium, improving their season record while Bonham fell to 0-5.
The Leopards' offense came out firing on all cylinders in front of a packed homecoming crowd, putting up 55 points in the district matchup. The high-scoring affair showcased Gainesville's offensive firepower as they pulled away from the winless Purple Warriors throughout the contest.
The homecoming win adds another victory to the Leopards' season as they continue district play. Bonham, still searching for their first win of the 2025 season, struggled to contain Gainesville's attack despite putting 35 points on the board themselves.
The Leopards will look to build on this momentum as they continue their pursuit of a district championship. Game details and statistics are available on the Gainesville ISD athletics website.
