LINDSAY, Texas — The Lindsay Lady Knights basketball team captured first place at the First State Bank Holiday Classic, capping a strong tournament run with an impressive showing. Chloe Corbett led the way for Lindsay, earning tournament MVP honors for her performance. Four additional Lady Knights received All-Tournament recognition: Josey Davis, Dani Jo Fleitman, Eadie Fleitman, and Sam Metzler. The tournament featured competition from area schools including Valley View, Trinity Valley, and Sacred Heart. Lindsay's balanced attack, with five players earning postseason honors, demonstrated the team's depth heading into district play. The Lady Knights' tournament championship adds to a successful season as the team prepares for the second half of its schedule.
