LINDSAY, Texas — Lindsay ISD will host rival Muenster for junior high and junior varsity football games Thursday, with the first game kicking off at 4:30 p.m.
The matchup features two Cooke County schools in a district competition that brings together neighboring communities. Both the junior high and JV squads will face off at Lindsay's home field.
The games provide opportunities for younger players to gain experience in competitive district play while building toward varsity-level competition. For many athletes, these contests represent crucial development stages in their high school football careers.
The Lindsay Knights and Muenster Hornets maintain a longstanding rivalry rooted in geographic proximity and shared district competition. Both programs have produced competitive teams at the varsity level in recent years.
