Valley View extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 15 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They had to suffer through a 69-0 loss at the hands of the Henrietta Bearcats. The Eagles lost against the Bearcats in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 39-27 score last time.As for Henrietta, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season. Cruse Coleman was his usual excellent self, rushing for 140 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception. Another player making a difference was Chaden Clark, who threw for 120 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Valley View is set to take on their familiar foe Holliday at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Henrietta will challenge rival City View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 928 yards in their previous games.
