Valley View ISD sets Pre-K Round-Up for April 8

VALLEY VIEW, Texas — Valley View ISD will host its Pre-K Round-Up and Enrollment event on April 8 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Valley View Elementary, 712 S. Lee St. The event is designed for families with children entering Pre-Kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year. Parents and guardians can meet the Pre-K teachers and staff, learn about the district's early childhood program, complete enrollment paperwork, and have their students participate in readiness assessments. Families should bring the following documents: - Birth certificate - Social Security card - Immunization records - Proof of residency The district encourages families to pre-register online before attending. Registration forms are available at vvisd.net/registration. Early childhood enrollment events give districts an opportunity to plan staffing and classroom sizes ahead of the fall semester. For Valley View ISD, the round-up also serves as a chance for incoming families to become familiar with the elementary campus and connect with staff before the first day of school.
