North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville has earned recognition as a Best Hospital for 2025-26 by U.S. News & World Report, marking an achievement that reflects the facility's dedication to excellence in patient care.
The 42-bed medical center serves a five-county region including Cooke, eastern Montague, western Grayson, and northern Denton counties in Texas, as well as southern Love County in Oklahoma.
NTMC also received a 2024 Performance Leadership Award for excellence in Outcomes during National Rural Health Day recognition, highlighting the hospital's sustained commitment to quality metrics and patient results.
"This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team," said NTMC leadership in a statement.
The medical center operates with a 6-bed intensive care unit and a 12-bed women's center featuring a dedicated C-Section operating suite. In addition to inpatient services, NTMC recently expanded its care delivery options by introducing Hospital @ Home services, allowing eligible patients to receive hospital-level care in their homes.
The facility has also maintained active partnerships with regional healthcare institutions and continues to serve as a cornerstone of healthcare accessibility for North Texas residents.
