Muenster ISD: Appreciation Week now, spring exams May 20-22

Muenster ISD students and staff begin the final stretch of the 2025-26 school year with a Hollywood-themed Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, followed two weeks later by spring semester exams.

MUENSTER, Texas — Muenster ISD students and staff begin the final stretch of the 2025-26 school year this week with a Hollywood-themed Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, followed two weeks later by the junior high and high school spring semester exam schedule.

Appreciation Week runs May 4 through May 8. The district adopted the tagline "Lights, Camera, Appreciation!" for the campaign, casting every staff member as a star and inviting the community to "roll out the red carpet" for the week.

Spring semester exams for Muenster Junior High and High School follow on May 20, 21, and 22. The schedule rotates which class periods are tested each day rather than grouping by subject.

Wednesday, May 20

Review sessions for periods 1 through 6 run from 7:50 a.m. to 12:27 p.m. Exams cover the seventh and eighth periods in the afternoon: 7th period from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m., and 8th period from 2:20 to 3:35 p.m.

Thursday, May 21

Exams cover periods 1, 3, and 5, beginning with the 1st period exam from 7:50 to 9:10 a.m. Early dismissal at 12:30 p.m.

Friday, May 22

Exams cover periods 2, 4, and 6, beginning with the 2nd period exam from 7:50 to 9:10 a.m. Early dismissal at 12:30 p.m.

Both events are part of Muenster ISD's "Great Things at MISD" campaign for the 2025-26 academic year.
