The Morton Museum announced a full slate of holiday events scheduled for December 2025, inviting the community to celebrate the season through cultural and family-friendly activities. Planned holiday events include visits from Santa Claus, a Holiday Home Tour showcasing decorated historic homes in the Gainesville area, and the popular PJ's and Pancakes breakfast. The museum's programming reflects its mission to serve as a community gathering place during special occasions. The Holiday Home Tour offers visitors the opportunity to view beautifully decorated historic homes while learning about Gainesville's architectural heritage. The tour typically features five to seven homes decorated for the holidays and provides insight into local history and preservation efforts. "Our holiday programming brings families together and showcases what makes Gainesville special," said Morton Museum leadership. "We're pleased to offer events that celebrate both our community heritage and the joy of the season." Santa Claus visits are scheduled to allow children to meet Saint Nick and share their Christmas wishes. The PJ's and Pancakes breakfast is a casual, family-friendly morning event where attendees can enjoy breakfast in their pajamas and participate in holiday activities. All events are open to the public. The museum is located at 702 South Denton Street in Gainesville.
