GAINESVILLE, Texas — The City of Gainesville has announced the lineup for its free summer concert series, with three evenings of live music planned at the Gainesville Farmers Market beginning in late May.
The "Gainesville Summer Sounds" series runs the last Friday of May, June and July, from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Admission is free.
2026 Lineup:
May 29 — The Wilder Blue with guest Cameron Hobbs
June 26 — Champagne Yacht Club Band with guest Blackout Betty
July 31 — Uncle Lucius with guest Maddie Rose
All three concerts take place at the Gainesville Farmers Market in downtown Gainesville.
The Wilder Blue is a Texas country act known for blending classic country influences with modern songwriting. Uncle Lucius, headlining the July date, is a veteran Austin-based roots rock band with a devoted following across Texas.
The series gives residents a free outdoor entertainment option across the summer months, traditionally the slowest stretch for local events before the fall festival season picks up.
